The Problem - Poor Local SEO & Complicated Navigation

Rob from Yor-pest control in York contacted me after dealing with a wasp nest at my home.

His website was ok and bringing in leads from the York area.  Rob mentioned he was looking to expand the geographical area to Harrogate, Knaresborough and Selby.   The local SEO for these other areas was poor.

I also suggested streamlining the slightly complicated navigation menu system to make it easier for his customer to locate the right information quickly.

The Solution - A Website Re-Design and Simplified

The first solution was to cross reference all the services Rob offered with the areas his serviced.

This involved various internal links to ensure his website could provide all the services to all the areas regardless of which page the customer was on.

The design was also improved by removing unwanted colours, irrelevant text and unrelated images.

The navigation and top-level menu were improved to allow the customer to see what services Rob offered and the areas he covered.  The website copy was rewritten to provide concise, informative and up to date information.

The Result - A Modern Sleek Website

The new website is now fully responsive for any device, albeit phone, tablet or laptop.

The brand is now consistantly recognised throughout the site and its organisation now depicts a professional company offering a professional service.
