After more than 27 years running my own joinery manufacturing business in York, I decided to take early retirement and start a new chapter — one where I could use my experience to help others.

I built my business from the ground up, employing 16 people and reaching a turnover of £1.3 million before selling in 2024.

What made the biggest difference to our growth wasn’t advertising or cold calling — it was our website. I handled the web design and was responsible for creating a website that was easy to navigate, visually appealing, and effective at converting visitors into customers.
